Yesterday and today I have been going through each of my pictures from Scotland to try and categorize them and see what stories they will yield.  The everyday life of the people in Inverness was captured in a few of the photos I took while wandering the street.  Each one is a story in its own right but since I don’t know these people it will have to be fiction!

Inverness is a city on Scotland’s northeast coast, where the River Ness meets the Moray Firth. It’s the largest city and the cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands and is one of the fastest growing cities in all of Europe with a current population of about 47,000.  After spending three days in this ancient settlement, whose history I need to learn more about, it was easy to see why it is ranked fifth across British cities as having the highest quality of life. As with any travel, it’s after you leave a place that you realize all the things you missed so another visit is clearly warranted.
