For the first time in many years I ventured down to Bay Village to watch the 4th of July fireworks. If my cousins had not been visiting from California I probably wouldn’t have bothered but it was fun to be with family on the holiday and enjoy the festivities.  It was also a great time for street photography and experimenting with ways to show the community coming together.  The most conspicuous group was the teenagers – and there were a lot of them.  The police kept tabs on them, confiscating any liquor they came across and dumping it out.  For the most part the kids were well behaved, just loud! Wandering through the crowd I was stopped frequently by these young people who wanted to pose for the camera. They were fun to be sure and I was able to take some fun pictures that with a little cropping and a switch to black and white made them tell a story and make a social commentary.  The one posted here are social commentary photos as you can tell.
