It was a quiet day in Viking Village but the Kathy Ann was getting ready to head out so I waited around. I have wanted to photograph her heading out so it was worth the wait. Since it was midday the light was not optimal but the photos of this boat show her off pretty well. This 32 year old 97 foot steel scalloper is the largest of the fleet at Viking Village. Captain Cory Karch is at the helm.
