The good weather on the island continues to hold though a good rain would be most welcome. The Southern Hunter went out for a few hours – caught a view from above as it passed by the Kathy Ann and Lori-L out into Barnegat Bay. The Elizabeth was being readied to head out on Monday morning for an extended trip. It was fairly quiet on the docks with the exception of maintenance work being done. The Miss Barnegat Light, a charter fishing and party boat was undergoing an engine overhaul by Viking Village mechanic John. The seemingly endless task of repairing the scallop drags was also in progress on a few of the boats. The Provider III returned to the docks with its catch of scallops but otherwise it was a quiet day. I was also able to ride my bike around Barnegat Light and take a few more pictures of old cottages for the old house project.
