I have frequently taken pictures of old houses on Long Beach Island that I knew would someday be torn down and replaced by a huge modern edifice. The idea of making this into a project came as a result of attending a workshop and after posting my intention on social media I was overwhelmed by the interest. Meanwhile I went out and seriously started identifying houses for the project. In addition to the ones I was told about by people interested in the project. These are a couple of photos and more will be posted as the project progresses. I’m hoping to find old photos of the same houses and gather any stories that go along with the houses. This will become a book, hopefully by next year.
