One of my projects over the past year has been to photograph men – an assignment I was given during a workshop.  The project has taken on a life of its own and I find I am challenged to depict men in photos in ways other than just the typical face close up or environmental portrait.  During the travels through Cuba I pushed my creative brain to find ways to represent men in pictures.  Some of those attempts are posted here. By focusing on such specific topics I find that my overall photography has improved, my eye has gotten sharper and I see things I might not have noticed before.
