Definitely was a cold day but bright and sunny as I ventured up to Seaside Heights, NJ to take a look around. This was more of a reconnaissance trip as I had never visited this area except to drive through. Spent time walking around the nearly empty boardwalk and got a couple of useful pictures. I think there are more opportunities to document this area in winter I will have to think about what I want to do. As things open up this spring this area will definitely represent the Jersey Shore! I also drove up to Point Pleasant Beach to check out the commercial fishing docks there and get the lay of the land. Much different in layout than Viking Village, but boats are essentially the same. I will have to contact the commercial fishing cooperative folks up there and my Viking Village connections will help. The weather these past two weeks has not been great for driving the 50-60 miles up north so I will plan my next venture up there probably for mid-March.
