Some days the ocean is just gorgeous and presenting the world with great waves for surfing!  Headed down to Kentford Ave. in Beach Haven to photograph my friend Sean.  It had been a log time since I was free at the same time as he was able to surf! Used the new Nikon Z8 camera to test it out and just loved using it! The lens is a 70-200 with an extender making it go to 400 mm.  Absolutely no loss in quality with the addition of the extender. Several sharp pictures despite the spray from the waves and my not so steady hand! It’s always a joy to watch Sean surfing – so graceful and self-assured. There is strength and power in surfing and when captured in still photos you also can see the incredible balance needed. Quite a fun sport to photograph.
